Napoleon had only just fell when two young men braved the odds and journeyed to the the harbor town of Gothenburg to start a salt shop. Fast forward to 1928, their successors introduce the first table salt to Sweden - Falk’s Salt. Today, generations later, Falksalt is still based in Gothenburg, Sweden with US roots in Detroit, with the same salty passion. We have continued our forebears’ mission of discovery - looking across the globe and into the future to inspire kitchen adventure.
